Avid is looking for a Senior Sales & Partnerships Manager to focus on commercialising relationships with the core holding group media agencies in Australia.
Reporting to the Agency Sales Director, this role is focused on supporting the relationship management across holding group media agencies and proposal requests, liaising internally with the strategy team on proactive ideas for agency brands as well leading conversations with Account & Planning Managers across agencies.
This person should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in media sales roles with experience in new business generation and digital media, or have worked in a media agency for over 3 years.
This candidate will ideally evolve into a team leader in the next 12-18 months and will operate with an uncapped commission scheme to benefit high performers in the business.
Tasks & Requirements:
Manage relationships with key agency contacts on a daily basis with a focus on contat education, deal nurturing and brief management
Outreach and engagement of Account & Planning Managers across their patch
Create and produce proposal documentation for response to briefs, proactive documents and sales meetings
Liaise with content and strategy teams for insights and support into sales documentation
Competitor research and identification of opportunities for brands to integrate into Avid seamlessly
Preferred Experience & Skills:
3+ years of experience working new business sales roles or working in a media agency
Excellent ability to engage new prospects and problem solve for clients to derive positive sales outcomes
Demonstrated a high level of written and verbal communication skills, including developing presentations for a range of industries, and the ability to communicate complex concepts simply
A clear understanding of digital benchmarks and trading formats to understand client spends and behaviours in their marketing
Clear ability with Microsoft Excel, Google Slides
Good understanding of the Australian digital publishing landscape
Respectful of teams and strong communicator internally to develop proposals and projects in the right way.
