With the rate and pace of change that our industry experiences, it's easy for people to fall behind in certain disciplines while focussing on their role and output. People can find themselves in a role for 2-3 years and then realise they're behind in their understanding of a certain discipline (i.e. digital media or strategy). Either that or people realise their passion lies with a different area of our industry than what they are currently doing. Still, they don't have the appropriate skills to transfer over at a similar level.
