About The Role:
This role is responsible for establishing and driving Programmatic & Social best practice for Mindbox’s newest client. You will be leading the roadmap from planning through to execution for these disciplines - articulating the role these channels can deliver within client’s media campaigns, and more broadly across their digital marketing ecosystem.
With x2 direct reports supporting in the implementation and delivery, you will be championing these media disciplines and lead by example – shaping and articulating your media approach to clients to showcase the value of the Mindbox thinking to our clients. You will play a critical role in developing the strategies for our newest client, as well as share your broader knowledge to lift the overall skill set for the broader agency.
Day to day, your role is to extract the best out of platforms and partner relationships ultimately to drive best in class campaigns through data led insights and an iterative test & learn mentality. You will lead and mentor x2 specialists and play a critical role in continuing to grow the Mindbox capability.
Key responsibilities:
Planning & Best Practice
● Drive best practices for DSP & Social account set up and management, empowering the team to implement and enhance
● Develop and manage Programmatic & Social roadmap plans for your clients, working closely with the client leads to understand key opportunities that fit into broader marketing strategies
● Understand and articulate the role of Programmatic & Social channels and how they influence and impact digital and marketing initiatives
● Autonomously lead and drive planning output across these disciplines, working closely with Client Lead to outline role of channel, effectiveness and impact
Technical Excellence
● Understand DSP and Social platforms inside out, understand how to leverage their capability for planning, audience segmentation and measurement effectiveness
● Ability to troubleshoot tagging and event tracking, with particular focus on Google Marketing Platforms, supporting the team with implementation and QA
● Proficient in analytics tools, develop benchmarking and insights to provide greater context of paid digital performance
Management & Collaboration
● Establish and build strong relationships with key ad tech partners to leverage greater access to platform betas, optimisation and platform potential
● Work closely with Search Director to drive optimal digital delivery through coaching, supporting and fostering talent
● Drive specialists’ career development plans through regular mentor and coaching sessions
● Work closely with Client Lead throughout the planning process, providing insight into competition, category and channel
● Have an open and collaborative working style, focusing on solutions and end outcomes
Skills required:
● Min 5+ years working within digital media, specifically DSP and/or Social platforms. Search experience is highly valued, but not required.
● Demonstrated experience with Google Marketing Platforms including DV360, CM360 and GA4
● Ability to transform data into actionable insights to be used in planning through to reporting
● A strong leader with a keen desire to mentor and train junior staff
● Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
