About The Role:

The Search Manager is responsible for driving campaign excellence within the delivery and management of search. Your remit will focus on the end to end management of campaign activity – from planning, implementation and ongoing optimization and reporting.

Supported with a digital executive, you will work together as a team to drive best practice delivery through leading the implementation process, identifying, and executing ongoing optimizations to achieve client goals. Working collaboratively with account lead, you will develop a strong understanding of the value of paid search within the broader digital ecosystem and provide valuable insight into campaign performance and results.

Key responsibilities:

Delivery & Optimisation

● Lead and manage account and campaign set up; ensuring appropriate targeting, bid and audience strategies align and deliver against overarching comm’s objectives

● Manage creative implementation and assistance with ad copy creation where required

● Drive effective and iterative SEM campaign management and delivery, aligning to best practice through data informed decision making

● Understand and support additional analytics or digital tracking requirements

Planning & Insights

● Provide strategic and planning input based on paid search platform capabilities

● Establish and deliver against planned paid media goals by providing historical performance and trends

● Articulate the impact of paid digital channels through web analytics

● Be an expert in Search capabilities, find best in class solutions for clients and keep up-to-date with emerging tools/tech solutions to support our client’s media strategy

● Drive reporting processes across your channels, working closely with team members to provide useful data led insights

Teamwork & Collaboration

● Work closely with clients and internal team throughout the campaign planning and implementation process

● Lead day to day actions & deliverables through managing internal and client communications

● Input into digital executive’s development plan and provide ongoing training and mentoring

● Have an open and collaborative working style, focusing on solutions and end outcomes

Skills required:

● 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, with experience in search ad platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and SA360)

● Solid understanding of the major players within paid media and broader digital ecosystem

● Comfortable with data extraction and analysis - a keen eye for insights and trends!

● Ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients, and agency partners

● Excellent time and project management
