About The Role:

This role is responsible for establishing and driving the delivery of Search best practice for Mindbox’s newest client. You will be leading the roadmap from planning through to execution - articulating the role Search can play across understanding consumer behaviour, category trends and campaign effectiveness. As a core Search lead, you will help shape overall Search strategy, ensuring SEO works closely with SEM, whilst focusing on the role of paid Search across the digital marketing ecosystem.

With x2 direct reports supporting in the implementation and delivery, you will be championing Search and lead by example – shaping and articulating your media approach to clients to showcase the value of the Mindbox thinking to our clients. You will play a critical role in developing the Search strategies for our newest client, as well as share your broader knowledge to lift the overall skill set for the broader agency.

Day to day, you will lead and mentor a team of specialists to extract the best of platforms whilst also establishing and leading partner relationships to drive best in class campaigns through data led insights and an iterative test & learn mentality. Through leading and managing strategy through to delivery, you will ultimately be responsible for establishing holistic search strategies to elevate the Search product, connecting paid and organic channels.

Key responsibilities:

Planning & Best Practice

● Drive best practices for Search account set up and management, empowering the team to implement and enhance

● Work closely with SEO consultants and Client Leads to establish Search roadmap plans for your clients; understand key opportunities and impact of SEO & SEM working together

● Support in overarching strategy & planning development, with a focus on supporting customer journey, audience insights and category behaviours through understanding search behaviours

● Autonomously lead and drive planning output across these SEM, working closely with Client Lead to outline role of channel, effectiveness and impact

Technical Excellence

● Understand SEM platforms inside out, understand how to leverage their capability for planning, audience behaviours and measurement effectiveness

● Ability to troubleshoot tagging and event tracking with particular focus on GA4, SA360 and support the team with implementation and QA

● Proficient in analytics tools, develop benchmarking and insights to provide greater context beyond last click performance of paid search

Management & Collaboration

● Establish and build strong relationships with key ad tech partners to leverage greater access to platform betas, optimisation and platform potential

● Work closely with Programmatic & Social Director to drive optimal digital delivery through coaching, supporting and fostering talent

● Drive specialists’ career development plans through regular mentor and coaching sessions

● Work closely with Client Lead throughout the planning process, providing insight into competition, category and channel

● Have an open and collaborative working style, focusing on solutions and end outcomes

Skills required:

● Min 5+ years working within Paid Search, high proficiency in Google Ads, Bing and SA360

● Experience with web analytics, and GMP integrations through Google Analytics

● Ability to transform data into actionable insights to be used in planning through to reporting

● Strong SEO knowledge and demonstrated ability to articulate a holistic Search strategy

● A strong leader with a keen desire to mentor and train junior staff

● Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
